Our grading scheme

banskochalets.co.uk combines two grading schemes into a single star rating system to help you establish the suitability of the property for your particular needs.

First of all, there is a “traditional” style star rating that purely determines the amount of facilities and equipment provided by the property/complex. The star rating does not necessarily indicate the quality of such facilities, nor does it indicate whether they are Free of Charge to use.

Unique to banskochalets.co.uk is a Points rating that is submitted by holidaymakers and “secret shoppers” and moderated by banskochalets.co.uk. The owners of the property do not submit ratings and our rating system has been specifically tailored towards what should be expected of a property in a ski resort. The Points rating encompasses the “touchy feely” element of your holiday - some properties give you a “must go back” feeling, while others engender more of a “never again!”

Our Points rating system, amongst other things covers:
Proximity to gondola station
Proximity to lively nightlife
Proximity to local amenities - shops, cafes, restaurants, etc
Efficiency of transport to/from gondola station (where provided)
Quality of furnishings in apartment
Quality of utilities in apartment / complex
Availability of assistance from owner / complex staff when required
Manners and general demeanour of complex staff
Quality of other provisions - ski rental, cleaning facilities, etc

A traditional star rating system (from 1 star to 5 star) covers, amongst other things:
Availability of amenities in the property / complex
Furnishings and other equipment available in the property

The colour of each star indicates the status of the Quality assessment - a clear star is the default condition until such time as a rating is submitted

All the stars turn green when positive feedback is received from customrs

All the stars turn red when negative feedback is received from customers

All the stars turn blue when the feedback is neither positive nor negative
